Alex Chapman

Alex graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2000. He then undertook surgical training based at The Royal London and Hammersmith Hospitals and gained his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS (Eng)) in 2004. He subsequently undertook his Radiology Training at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals and then an Interventional Radiology fellowship at St Mary’s Hospital. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCS) in 2010.
 

Areas of interest

During his training and subsequent consultant career, Alex has developed a particular interest in both Diagnostic and Interventional Vascular Radiology and is the Clinical Lead for Interventional Radiology at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital.

Dr Chapman regularly performs a wide range of Arterial and Venous Endovascular procedures and has specific interest in Peripheral Arterial Disease, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair and Venous disease (including Embolization for Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, Recurrent Varicose Veins and Varicoceles, as well as deep venous reconstruction).
